I have some great childhood and high school friends that I still have contact with, and it will be great to see more friends and classmates at the reunion.

I have lived here in Sandy since Kris and I have been married - 43 years.I worked in the construction industry for all of those years, retiring in 2015. Kris still teaches 1st grade,looking forward to retirement in a couple of years. We spend a lot of time traveling - especially to St. George and Logan to see our grandchildren,
School Story

Most of my stories revolve around baseball, basketball, and football - because that's where I spent all of my time. Those were great experiences primarily because of the friendships that evolved - friendships and experiences that I still cherish. I really have some terrific friends from school.

But the funnest story I remember is about a fishing/hiking trip I went on with Steve Poulson, Brian Moench, and Mick Boyle. I really miss Mick who passed away in 1991.

Steve - It was really good to see you again. Visiting with you was the highlight of my weekend - it brought back so many great memories of Holladay elementary, backyard games, and sports from little league through jr. high, and high school. I always knew that when we were on the same team that it was going to be a lot of fun - and that we would be good. It's been too many years - i hope that it's not that many before we meet again.

I was really sad to hear about Dave, I didn't know that he had passed away. Like Dave Haedt, I also met his wife at the 40 yr. reunion and had a great visit with them. I knew Dave since 1st grade - he lived right next door to one of my best friends ever - Mick Boyle. The three of us spent countless hours playing catch, or shooting baskets, or throwing the football around. And even though Dave didn't have quite the physical capabilities of me or Mick, he was always happy and smiling, and a true joy to be around. He was a great friend and a great person. He served as a team manager for all the teams through jr. high and high school, and he always was there for whateever we might have needed - never a complaint or frown. He will be missed.
