Steven Crandall Rudy died May 14, 1993 in Idaho, of injuries sustained in an auto accident while on business.

Born June 26, 1950 in Salt Lake City, to H. A. and Connie Crandall Rudy. Married Holly Bowman in Salt Lake City, two sons born of this marriage, Joshua and Adam, of Park City, Utah. Married Julie Carlisle in Salt Lake City. Graduated from Olympus High School and attended Westminster College and the University of Utah.Steven "Flash" (as he was known by his friends) was a gifted artist and was extremely creative in business enterprises and promotional advertising. His entrepreneurial spirit and love of family and friends was enhanced by the gift of unconditional love and the rare ability to not label or make perceptual judgements about the human condition of anyone, friend, stranger or would be foe alike. His free spirit and mental agility were well known by friends and business associates.

Steven is survived by his parents, children, and two sisters, Robyn Heyrend and Debra (David) Johnson.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 1993 in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive.

A gathering for Steven and Michael Heyrend, (the brother-in-law who also died in the automobile accident), will be held at LaCaille at Quail Run for family and friends, following the graveside services.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to a Trust Fund which has been established at Draper Bank 801-571-3141 for the benefit of his children, Joshua and Adam Rudy. Your kind contributions are greatly appreciated.
