Greg died in Paris, France during his mission in 1971. He was driving a moped on a round about when struck by a car. What a great young man he was and died in the Lord's service. He was a good friend and neighbor to me.

Thanks for that information on Greg.  I never knew that's what had happened.

Greg lived next door to me.  His family continued to live there for another 20 years.  Unfortunately, his mother never really recovered from the loss--almost never came out of the house, and they sold the house after she died.  It was all so tragic.  Greg was a very nice person.

Let us sing the praises of our fellow Titans.

Those who have left their mark in life.

There are the physicians who have healed in a needy world,

and the attornies who have sought justice in a cruel world.

There are the skilled politicians among us.

There are the devoted mothers and fathers.

There are various musiciams who have played in orchestras

With great skill and the athletes to loud applause.

Then there are the sceret heros.

Those who did not like to fly in capes.

Yet they flew

every day

against a stiff and unrelenting wind,

unnoticed and not infrequently unloved.

Greg Harrie is gone. Yet he left us his best daily gift while here

----his unparalled goodness.

By simply being who he was,

he blessed the world more than he or we understood.

It was enough.

Let us sing the praises of our fellow Titans,

Those who have left their mark in life.
