Gary was born in Murray, Utah to Kenneth and Velma Casper. He served honorably in the United States Army, during the Vietnam War. After the war he married his “Foxy Lady” Julie (Kilpack). He worked as a Master Mechanic at Dave Strong Porsche & Audi for 42 years, and he was also a good carpenter. He enjoyed golfing, water skiing, snow skiing, fishing, hunting, road trips, football, and spending time with his family. He was a giving man, someone you could always rely on and would always lighten your day with a good laugh. He is loved by all and we will miss his smile, laughter, and fun adventures.

He is survived by his 2 daughters, Sherry Thompson (grandchildren Crystal, Ashley, Joey and great grandchild Eli) and Jamie (Mike) Simmons (grandchildren Ryan and Quinn), brother Richard (Barbara) Casper, sisters Donna Saracino, Marilyn Robertson, and Sharon (Harvey) Frandsen.

Preceded in death by his wife Julie, his parents, and his sister LaRae Kellch.

The services will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 E. 10600 S. on Saturday July 11, 2015. Viewing from 12:30 – 1:45, funeral from 2:00 – 3:30 at the Mortuary/Chapel and then graveside Interment following funeral on site at Larkin Cemetery.
