I attended the University of Utah and Utah State University. I traveled a lot and lived in Hawaii for a summer, and returned to work at Park City Resort. I met my husband, Randy while working at VanCott, Bagley law firm and have been married 37 years. While raising four children, I had the opportunity to work for a professor in the Psychology Department at the U. of U. I gave over 200 presentations in the Salt Lake valley on the use of chemicals in our home and using non toxic products instead. It was one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had next to being a wife and mother. Our family lived in Murray for 35 years and this past year my mother passed away at 101 years of age and we have purchased my childhood home. Oh the memories here! Great to be back home.

School Story

Can anyone honestly say they had Mr. Fjeld for Driver's Education and say they were not afraid of him? Mr. Fjeld came to my History class one day and, as all eyes were on me as he called my name, I could not imagine what I had done. He asked me to be in the car rodeo, which I had never heard of, but I was not about to tell him no. I had no idea he thought I was a good driver. I think my parallel parking clinched it for me. He had me scared to death behind the wheel. To this day, I have never been in an accident or had a ticket. All luck, believe me! I guess I can say he taught me well.
I was always a timid child. If I could go back to school, I would be an entirely different person. I do think that playing the violin and being in orchestra helped me in many ways. I have turned out to be such a different person than I was in school. Thankfully!
